| E-Gear Joins TKO College Tour
This Fall, E-Gear magazine will launch the Collegiate Gadget Guide, a guide to the latest high-tech gear for college students, in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Association's (CEA) TechKnow Overload (TKO) college tour. First launched in 2003, the TKO Tour goes straight to a key demographic for many consumer technology companies – college students who embrace high-tech devices and the future. The TKO tour takes the latest and greatest consumer electronics products and digital technology on a traveling tour, allowing the prime target market a chance to see, touch and experience the best consumer technology for themselves. E-Gear, a consumer electronics magazine published by the Consumer Technology Publishing Group, is the official publication of the TKO Tour. E-Gear provides the latest product and technology information from the world of consumer electronics. Its mission is to help readers understand and integrate electronic gear into their lifestyles The Fall 2004 TKO Tour kicks off during the critical back-to-school buying season and travels to 25 top colleges and universities east of the Mississippi.
