A New Trade Magazine to Service the Furniture Retailing Industry
PHILADELPHIA, PA — North American Publishing Company (NAPCO), the leading voice in business-critical information, has announced the formation of Home Furnishings Business (HFB) a new publication dedicated to covering the market for furniture retailing.
HFB's coverage will focus on the "business" of furniture retail today. It will introduce retailers to best practices for home retailing and offer valuable strategies and intelligence for manufacturers and retailers who want to maintain a successful business. HFB will come under the director of Eric Schwartz, President of NAPCO's Consumer Technology Publishing Group (CTPG).
"The furniture market is evolving now, and the industry needs a magazine that can address business issues and retail strategy," explains Schwartz. "HFB will provide retailers relevant coverage to help them plan and execute their businesses." Schwartz tapped Amy Kyle, a five-year veteran in the home furnishings market, to be the publisher and Margaret Casey to be the associate publisher of HFB. "We are very excited by the potential of HFB to serve its target audience," explains Kyle. "The last few years have brought change and innovation to the furniture retail industry. We feel that the market is ready for a fresh and vibrant new title that retailers can turn to for not only news and product information but also business and strategy ideas."
In each issue, HFB will focus on tools, techniques, strategies and advice for the furniture retailers who wish to maximize their potential and profitability in this ever-changing market.
HFB will be launched during the Las Vegas Market in January.
