All About eMail Virtual Conference & Expo officially opened its "virtual" doors with more than 900 email marketing professionals in attendance on Thurs., November 12.
The morning keynote address, "Email Marketing by the Book," took place in the virtual auditorium with Jeanniey Mullen, CMO, Zinio and Founder of the Email Experience Council. Mullen talked about how to make sure your email marketing program stacks up to the best in breed strategies in place. From list growth to design, strategy and relationships, Mullen discussed the key best practices "by the book." Mullen took her tips straight out of the book she and David Daniels, of Forrester Research, authored called "Email Marketing, An Hour a Day."
The afternoon keynote address, Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses, Oh My!: The Essential Guide to Email Security, took place in the virtual auditorium with David Gewirtz, Online Security Expert and Author of "Where Have All the E-mails Gone." Gewirtz talked about the email security gremlins out there and how to make sure they don't make your email marketing campaigns "sick."
