| Paul Miller Named Editor-in-Chief at Catalog Success Magazine
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Veteran Catalog Journalist Replaces Donna Loyle PHILADELPHIA, March 13, 2006—Paul Miller, an 18-year veteran editor, writer, and reporter in the catalog and direct marketing trades, today was named editor-in-chief of Catalog Success, a monthly business magazine. Miller's appointment is effective March 28, 2006. "This is a tremendous opportunity," said Miller, who was an editor with the publication formerly known as Catalog Age from 1986 to 2004. "I've always admired the role Catalog Success has taken since its inception: to help catalogers with informative, actionable, multichannel solutions they can apply to their daily work. It's my goal to continue to build on our franchise's success in helping catalogers grow their businesses." After leaving Catalog Age, Miller became a catalog marketing consultant and freelance writer, undertaking projects for such catalogers as Woodworker's Supply and Dover Saddlery, and the suppliers LENSER, NextAction, Mokrynskydirect, and APX Logistics. He was also a contributing writer to Catalog Success and Internet Retailer. For the past year, he served as news/website editor for Commercial Property News. Miller will primarily work out of his home office in Somers, N.Y., as well as the Philadelphia-based office of Catalog Success parent firm, North American Publishing Company (NAPCO.) Miller replaces Donna Loyle who joined Catalog Success in 2001 and was promoted to editor-in-chief in January 2002. Loyle left NAPCO to become editorial director at Human Kinetics, a publisher of numerous sports and recreation resources including books and videos.
